His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah is to inaugurate and attend the Kuwaity flag raising ceremony in Bayan Palace on Wednesday morning January 26, 2011, at the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, militery leaders, officers, policemen and national guards. The ceremony began with the national anthem and then His Highness the Amir raised the flag.

1000 KD by Feb 24th.
His highness the Amir sheikh Sabah Alahmad Alsabah grants will be deposited in the bank accounts of every Kuwaiti citizen over 21 years of age on February 24, and whoever has legal custody will be the one receiving the grant on behalf of children, as well as offering food rations for free for 13 months as of next month.
The grants marked the occasion of the 50th independence anniversary, 20th liberation anniversary and 5th anniversary of Sheikh Sabah's assumption of office.

Greetings
I would like to dedicate my first message to Maria Alqobtia newspaper press team who decided to join journalism at early age, I wish we could cooperate together to execute a very special, attractive blog, It would be the first step towards the real world of journalism.
This year we may confront lots of hard work, training and achievement, who knows? We may continue this path together or with others maybe.

High School Journalism Education Program
Introduction:
Journalism is a very vital career that each reporter or journalism should pay attention to it and take good care of it because it reflects the community issues, problems, worries and other matters.
State Of Kuwait was selected as the second Arab and Gulf country after Oman by the Academic Cooperation Center (AED) in the United States to execute a school press project aimed at developing the skills of critical thinking and analysis, and finding different teaching skills for teachers and exchange ideas in the field of information technology, communication skills and the press, as well as the use of technology in education, and training students to be able to cooperate with local and international projects, in addition to develop research in the field of journalism and inspire students to be devoted to journalism in order to find a better job in the future.
About the project:
It's one of the global educational projects based on learning educational sources network (IEARN) and oversees the (Academic Cooperation Center AED), in the United States, it focuses on developing the skills of journalistic work by high school journalism school.
Project objectives:
· Developing skills of critical thinking and analysis.
· Find different teaching skills among teachers.
· Exchange ideas in the field of information technology, communication skills and the press.
· Using technology in education, and training students to be able to collaborate with local and international projects.
· Develop research in the field of journalism and implement journalism to be their future employment.
Group:
School Students grades (10-12) whether scientific or Arts.
Project idea:
The idea of this project is to create a generation of journalists who love to do their job in good manner and to be capable of dealing with the requirements of the project to acquire sufficient experience and skills that make it work in future press field.
The project Process:
· Identifying schools included in the project.
· Meet teachers, supervisors to identify the project, and review the work plan.
· Implementation of training workshops for teachers and students about journalism.
· Continue to work with schools and students to discuss the project plan.
· Assign students as delegates journalists in their schools, and create reporter IDs to identify them during their attendance for various occasions and events at the school.
· Guide students to prepare the press releases and electronic project that contain their work.
· Visits other schools in each area in order to exchange experiences.
· Find training opportunities for students in news organizations in the State of Kuwait to link them with the environment of journalism.
